Ahhhhh....glorious Rome! The weather was delightful....we didn't fall off of anything....we didn't lose any credit cards....and we didn't eat any durian....a PERFECT day!
Our only mistake was coming during baseball season. The Sox-Yankees game was on ESPN at 3 AM this morning and we just couldn't help getting up to watch Manny being Manny! Being a fan is hard work....and makes for VERY tired tourists!
Very stylish Swiss Guard at the Vatican. (No....he wouldn't give us his phone number....)
We threw the obligatory coin into the Trevi Fountain which means that we will return to Rome. (Good....maybe it won't be during baseball season and we'll be a little more awake!)
